Electronic Design Next: PCB design 
Ionocom provides a comprehensive set of design services backed up by proven procedures, modern tools and test equipment. We follow a consistent design process that ensures clear communications with our clients, good integration between the different aspects of the project, fast time-to-market, and a high quality result in the form of an engineering drawing set for the designed product. We offer experience and expertise ranging from radio and analog circuit design through digital logic to embedded processors. 
Our radio experience extends from shortwave to cellular, with particular emphasis on short-range wireless communications. Products we have designed include 88-108MHz (broadcast FM), 433MHz (short-range proprietary wireless), 850-1900MHz (cellular and GPS) and 2.4GHz (short-range wireless). In addition to radio communications we also focus on analog design areas such as audio, battery and power management, sensors and instrumentation. We have solid digital logic design experience from tiny low-power discrete gate designs through to complex programmable-logic devices such as Altera and Xilinx CPLDs. 
We have experience with 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers from supplies such as Microchip (PIC), Texas Instruments (MSP430 and ARM Cortex-M3), Rabbit and Atmel (AVR), and industry-standard parts such as the 8051. We also have experience with 32-bit microprocessors and DSPs from suppliers such as Texas Instruments, Renesas and Freescale. We have experience designing high-volume, low-cost consumer products. Production quantities have exceeded one hundred thousand units for several products we have designed. Conversely, many of the projects we tackle are lower-volume, high-value products for professional and industrial applications. We can design to meet cost targets and manufacturing process constraints. We are familiar with DFM (design for manufacture) and DFT (design for test) processes. We can design to meet regulatory requirements and have experience dealing with UL, CSA, FCC, CE and US DOD standards. We use industry-standard CAD tools for schematic capture and simulation, and database tools for control of bill-of-materials and drawing sets.
